DAVID MARKOWITZ. Born in Charleston, South Carolina, David was educated in area schools, receiving a degree in English from the College of Charleston in 1980. Upon graduating, he attended Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, and received a Master of Arts degree in 1982. In 1986, he obtained his law degree from Western State University School of Law in Fullerton, California. Since that time, David has been in private practice. Prior to opening his own firm in 1993, David was the senior manager of the real estate closing department for an Atlanta firm specializing in real estate law.
